MBTA stands for Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority which was formed in 1964 to operate buses, subways, customer railway, and shipping transport systems in Boston area. But a number of Sutherland complaints are coming about MBTA not working properly.
Sutherland Complaint about MBTA: Recently there was a Sutherland complaint about MBTA from an individual, named Jonathan Kamens, who was traveling through a train. Kamens was unfamiliar with the place that he was going to i.e. Sutherland Street. He noticed that stop announcements were being made audibly and even on the LED display screen. After seeing this, Kamens got relaxed and thought of doing some work in the mean time knowing that he will get to know about the stop from the announcements. After some time he realized that one stop had gone and no announcement was made. He talked to the train driver and asked if they have reached the Sutherland Street. The driver replied that Sutherland Street has passed by in fact the last stop was Sutherland Street. Jonathan got shocked and complained why no announcement was made about the Sutherland Street stop. To this the driver replied that they never do.
Jonathan was amazed with the reply and made a complaint about missing Sutherland Street. He asserted that the supervisors should ensure that the automated stop announcements must be made. If in case there’s some problem, the driver should be obligated to make all the announcements for the stops. Jonathan made Sutherland complaint that if there were no announcement he would have paid attention on every stop and wouldn’t have missed the Sutherland Street stop. He insisted that making false pretences about providing service by announcing for some of the stops is unacceptable. He further added that the same thing happened with his wife who wanted to go to Sutherland Street and to confirm the stop she thought of reviewing the map. On reviewing she found that it didn’t have Sutherland Street, in its place the map showed Mount Hood. There are number of other Sutherland complaints too about MBTA not working properly.
